Dishman Hills Conservation Area - Iller Creek — Saturday, Jul. 20, 2024

05:30 Early morning hike up the east ridge, to Rocks of Sharon and back down the west trail.

On the way up, met a bull moose about 10 yards off the trail, unfortunately he wasn’t willing to stick around for a photo. I’d say the location was near 2,900 ft elevation.

No other hikers until RoS, several parties on the trail down.

Fantastic views out across the Palouse.
