Lovely little day hike! My Garmin said the elevation is closer to 2500 total but still mostly gentle.
So many wildflowers blooming right now and the bear grass is about to pop off!
There were bugs but the wind kept them at bay. More flies than mosquitoes. I didn’t get bitten once.
I saw a handful of Tiger Lillies- which are more rare wild flowers, so keep your eyes open! Orange with brown spots.
