Ira Spring Trail - Mason Lake — Sunday, Aug. 4, 2024

Parking lot was full when we arrived at 9:15. We parked along the road near the lot. Pit toilet available at trailhead. No toilet paper stocked. Hiking trail is great condition. Had some nice views of Mt Rainier as we were hiking up as well as down. The lake is very clean and clear, not too cold. Several people swimming. Kudos to the young woman who carried a very heavy backpack with her inflatable paddle board to use at the lake.
