The Lime Kiln trail was quite enjoyable with lots to see and explore. The blackberries are exploding and tastes devine; I think after the season, they are gonna need to be cut back because they’re creeping towards the path. I will say I felt like the mileage might’ve been a little off tegarding how far you were from certain points. Arriving earlier in the day definitely beats the crowds, I was the first one there and by the time I made it back to the trailhead, the parking lot was packed. The disappointing part was the amount of garbage along the trail, mostly dog poop bags, and lots of tissues. I feel like some people need to be reeducated on how to pack in and pack out.
