A nice, gentle trail that follows alongside the river through forest. The river is a beautiful milky aqua blue hinting at its glacier origins. The river rushes around and over boulders and logs. You're always within earshot of the river. The trail is easy and well maintained. We met a woman along the trail who was using a walker. We spotted a spider crawling across the trail that iNaturalist identified as a "fierce orbweaver" (Araneus saevus), though nothing fierce about it except its looks, so let it go if you see it. There is plenty of parking at the trailhead next to the highway. It's a popular put-in location for rafters and kayakers.
