Summerland - Panhandle Gap — Friday, Aug. 30, 2024

Got park entry reservation the night before. Lovely day on the trail, love wandering through the old growth forest on the way up to
Summerland. Tail end of wild flowers, deep blue gentians in the meadow and pink penstemons dotting the creek. A beer crossing a snow field just below pandandle gap. Not that many folks on the trail, mainly Wonderland trail backpackers. Crystal clear views in all directions, couldn’t ask for more.
