Absolutely beautiful hike with stunning views!
First half mile along Mowich Lake is flat and easy, then it’s a bit of up before switchbacks down (lots of roots) and switchbacks up to Lake Eunice.
The lake is gorgeous (although there was a bit of a smell at the south end) and the climb to the fire tower reveals a better and better view of Rainier all the way up. At the top of the climb, but before you get to the fire tower, there is a turn off to the left that reveals stunning views to the northwest and is well worth a peek.
The service road might break your car on the way up, and you’ll definitely want something with a higher clearance and good suspension.
