I really enjoyed this hike! It’s away from the crowds and has great views. We started a little after 9am and arrived at the top in a little over two hours. It was pretty warm but luckily a breeze kept it manageable. The elevation is gradual until the very end it is fairly steep. We were the only ones at the top and probably stayed there close to 40 minutes to eat and rest. It’s rocky but you can find good spots to sit. There were a TON of flying ants though…landing on us, hitting our faces and covering the rocks. Thankfully off to the right side we found a spot where they left us alone and we only dealt with a few ladybugs.
