Barclay Lake — Saturday, Sep. 21, 2024

I had a great little hike up to the lake with the family. Fishing was fun even without any strikes, and the kids were entertained just watching all the fish jump. We actually got to witness a trout take a frog right in front of us! Lake is very low, see pics; I have never seen it lower actually. Trail was clear the whole way, campers at the lake as usual but they left enough room for everyone to spread out.  Lots of colorful fungus hiding near the trail, keep an eye out for interesting little guys.
