We did a scramble to Curtis Gilbert via the west route which is well described on Summitpost. Route finding was not too difficult and terrain not so bad if following key tips in SP and other beta from various sources. Key tips we found - (1) traverse goes best if contouring at around 7500’, (2) the traverse takes you over several ribs (4-5) and you are aiming for a saddle on each of these ribs to get you past it, (3) white rock is most secure terrain to travel on. Lots of water in Cispus Basin where we camped. Maybe 3 campsites close to the crossing of the Cispus River. One dry camp a few hundred feet above the crossing along the route. Hope this helps.
