It's beginning to feel a lot like... autumn! The trees are turning golden and the water was very calm today. We walked from the northern parking lot counterclockwise to the dock on the eastern side of the lake, and it was lovely to sit next to the water for a while (although the water itself was pretty green and not very appealing).
We got to the parking lot around 10 this bright clear morning, and there was plenty of parking still available. The park was pretty quiet where we were, with several folks around but sparsely. When we returned to the parking lot about 45 minutes later, there were definitely more cars in the lot but there were still many spots available.
