Swan Creek is a great place for an urban hike or run. The trails descend from the parking area to the the creek and can be steep in places. Some lower sections of the trail are near the water and here it is easy to forget you in the middle of a city.
WTA widened many parts of the trails in Spring of 2023 and this work has held up well. Unfortunately people have been short-cutting the switchbacks and in some places this has eroded the area where the short-cut crosses the primary trail. These intersections can be quite narrow and need to be repaired.
