Beckler Peak — Sunday, Oct. 13, 2024

After a slow drive down the road off US2 (because of the potholes) we made it to the trailhead. Only one other car there on a Sunday at 8.30 am! They were cyclists so on another trail. The walk is gentle and relaxing after hiking Frog Mountain and Blanca Lake the day before. My husky loved the walk, especially spotting grouse and little critters in the beautiful forest. The forest is just like a painting with the sun dappling the trees. It was surreal when we arrived at the top, 360 views of the mountains completely took my breath away. Best place for brunch and no better company than my husky. A perfect Sunday!
