Royal Basin via Royal Lake — Monday, Oct. 14, 2024

Trail is wonderfully maintained. Camped at Royal Creek on way in. Green trails map seems to have correct location of camp. Camp is before the "no campfire sign". If you want to camp at Royal Creek and you come upon the sign, backtrack a bit. Second night camp at Royal lake with afternoon hike to Royal Basin. Gorgeous area. Water Fall past the ranger station well worth a side trip. Lotsa mushrooms visible everywhere.
