Little Joe Lake — Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024

Good hike to get in some elevation quickly - it's a solid steady climb with short flats at the beginning and end. Some blow downs, mud, and overgrowth on the trail but nothing impassable. We had a pleasant, slightly misty day with lots of fall colors. Lake is small but pretty, though tough to access as it's marshy and muddy. The view down the valley on the way back is lovely.
