First time here, parked at the Pioneer Way parking area and hiked up to the Lister Overlook and then back via the dog park and picnic area. The fall foliage was pretty, and we encountered a few trail runners and one hiker with their dogs but no other folks on the trail.
Saw a few tents and garbage, including a bike in the creek. There was one tree down in the trail that we needed to scramble over. And I recommend crossing over any of the numerous slippery footbridges that are in need of repair or replacement or removal with extra caution. My hiking buddy slipped and fell down on one of them. When we returned to the parking area there was a sketchy guy shouting at us from his car and, as we pulled out he got out of his car and started checking out the other parked car there. Didn't feel super safe there and don't think I'll be going back anytime soon. If I do go back again, I'll park up at the parking area near the dog park and mountain bike area.
