We encountered workers removing downed trees across the Middle Fork Road in a few places as we headed to the Middle Fork parking/trailhead. Evidently this area experienced high winds from last week's storm.
The Middle Fork Connector trail was in pretty good condition, but we did have a couple of small Alders to get over and flowing small creeks to get through. At about mile 2 a small bridge over a deep, brushy ravine was demolished by a falling tree and made going further dangerous so we decided to turn around. I suppose you could get to other side of trail by negotiating the ravine but we choose not to.
