Enjoyed the paved road to the trailhead, complete with privy. Spotted some cars parked roadside outside the parking lot. Hiked up to the bluff, then returned via sea level along the water. Initially thought that the trail returned along the shoreline on the sand, but the high tide prevented us from continuing on the beach. We followed the trail as it wound adjacent to the ponds.
Very pleasant on a weekday AM, not crowded. Forecast was cloudy, but still managed to spot Rainer, Olympics, baker, and the rest of the cascades.
