Went part way up Milk Creek, this time about 3.5 miles from river crossing near Suiattle trailhead. Rain shower came through as I arrived at the TH so all vegetation remained saturated throughout the day.
Occasional pink and a few yellow flags have been added since April. A few new logs down including several on the switchbacks after Rivord creek. Rivord creek was low enough that I crossed on stepping stones at the trail crossing rather than the log 150 feet upstream. I did a fair amount of brushing though the jack straw blowdown mess that starts about 3.3 miles in. Turned back at a bridge down in a draw about 3.5 miles in.
