Beautiful trail. Parked at the deer creek gate and walked a couple miles on the road to the trailhead. The road itself had beautiful views and we saw some salmon swimming in the river.
The trail to the ice caves was slippery in places and micro spikes could be helpful. Reflections in the water were spectacular. And the ice caves look cool!
Was about 7 miles round trip from the gate.
