The trail was very wet possibly after yesterday’s rain. Multiple small streams to walk across on the way to the top, so I would recommend water proof boots.  There are sections with lots of roots sticking out and other sections with rocks. Just need to be careful and pay attention while walking. There was snow at the top throughout the loop around the lake. There was also many puddles to walk through. It was doable without any microgrips.
