There was minimal slush in the parking lot. We Started from TH @ 10:10am on Sat.
About 5” of snow on Ironhorse, but no snow under the cover of trees. As we gained elevation (maybe 2 miles up?) we did put on spikes which helped a TON! I wore spikes all the way to the lake and didn’t need snowshoes. They might be needed in the next two weeks as more snow accumulates. Arrived at Anette Lake by 12:10p for lunch with friends.
You just can’t beat winter in the mountains!
