Excellent winter hike. Biked up the first 3 miles to the TH. If hiking, it’s a very relaxing and easy road walk. The ascent to green lake is steep at times but not super strenuous. Stopped by ranger falls which was really flowing today. Closer to the lake, there is a little more snow on the ground but traction devices definitely not needed. Just before the lake, there is ice on the log bridge so go slow and take your time. Trail is overall well maintained. On the way back to the parking lot, saw 4-5 deer on the road.
