Damage at the start of the Woody Trail

We went to Wallace Falls State Park today to check out the clean up of the damage caused by the bomb cyclone, and my goodness they have done a fabulous job of clearing a significant amount of downed trees and damage.  We arrived just before 9am to an almost empty parking lot (it was a Wednesday), and the restroom was clean and well stocked.  We took the Woody Trail up to the Lower Falls Viewpoint, then returned to the Greg Ball Trail and took that up to Wallace Lake.  Lunch at the lake and then back to the parking lot, which was now about 1/2 full.  Pictures show some of the damage we saw.

This tree was snapped off and cracked all the way down to the root.
Typical blow down debris adjacent to the trail
Large amount of trees down over the North Fork of the Wallace River, between the Greg Ball Trail and the clearcut area.
