Point Defiance Park — Sunday, Jan. 12, 2025

There are a number of trails in the park that aren't on the park's official map, including a whole network near the dog park which is what I did today, roughly as follows:  parking a short ways past the dog park entrance, I walked a trail back into the park, then downhill to a road-trail to a viewpoint of the Narrows Bridge.  From the viewpoint I continued onward, bypassing a house, then picked up a trail paralleling the road I parked on and below it.  After a while I made a right on a trail that ended in an open field between Mildred St. and N. Salmon Beach Dr.   From there I walked back up that trail, which got me more or less back to my car.
