Trip Report

Lewis River Falls — Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2025

Southwest Washington > Lewis River Region

Started at the Crab Creek Trailhead and went to Upper Falls and back for a 10 mile trip. An amazing day for a hike! First time on this trail loved seeing everything during the winter time. No snow but it was cold enough in spots that there was a little bit of ice. A bit foggy in the morning but it burned off and the sun was out for the later half of the day. All the waterfalls were fantastic including the lesser falls on the trail. Quiet and peaceful, not another soul around. If there was one disappointment it was the amount of trash I found and hauled out. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Thanks for the report and thank you for picking up the trash. It is hard to think of anything more detracting from our natural landscapes than our trash.
