Started the hike at 9 am and ended at 6 pm. The road is in rough shape with numerous large potholes. We parked about a quarter mile from the trailhead before the snow got too deep. We brought crampons and ice axes but should've brought snowshoes. We followed the summer route, and there was a good boot path through the trees. We then just made our own path to a boot path we spotted that went up the ridge to the North Peak. We attempted to climb the ridge but ran into a near vertical section at the end, so we decided to just head to Sibley Pass.
