Arrived around 1pm. Wasn't the hike I planned to do but I-90 was closed starting at exit 47 so this was what I had time for. Parking lot was covered in light snow. Trail was a mix of no snow at the very bottom but quickly was snow covered. With fresh snow it was not slippery. However, I'm guessing tonight everything is going to freeze over all the compacted snow from the hikers is going to get a bit more icy. The top of Rattlesnake Ledge was quite pretty and the wind was blowing steadily. Stayed up there for a few minutes to take some photos beyond heading back down. Today was fine without Micro spikes but if you're thinking of going up tomorrow, perhaps pack some traction.
