This was our first meander since Bob had a pacemaker implanted 2 weeks ago. I am happy to say he did very well. Our oldest son, Dave, who lives in the Boston area and our youngest son, Bob, and his wife, Su Chin, came with us. The day was cloudy, but we had no rain until the last 15 minutes of our loop. Ring-necked ducks, mallards, 2 male and one female wood duck and 3 geese were seen on the pond. A few salmon carcasses were seen in the creek viewing areas and eggs were seen on and near one of them. A few others were enjoying the peacefulness and green in the area. The many interesting stumps and root forms along the trail add to the beauty of the area.
