It's been far too long since I've written a report and probably even longer since doing this hike. I started at the bus turnaround because I knew I'd be slow and probably miss the 4pm main lot closure. I took the falls trail and then the kamikaze. The falls are really impressive right now. Snow free until about 4000'. I had spikes and put them on here. The last 500' was pretty tough going up and down. Going up it was mostly postholing that was annoying. Coming down was tough because of how slushy it was and the spikes not helping much. Poles are very helpful. I really like this hike and it felt great to be out doing something steep again.
