That's quite different from the Coal Creek Trail. Since a mama and baby bear together are potentially very dangerous, it would be very helpful for hikers to know where you saw them. If you took your photos with a phone, you might be able to get the GPS coordinates from them.

We saw the bears on the Red Town trail. My intent was to share a joyous and special occasion and not be publicly scolded about safety. I do understand some people might be very afraid of two black bears, but they are an unlikely risk, and furthermore, a risk to anyone that hikes anytime, not just in the Coal Creek area. If you are that wary, hike more urban areas.
