Didn't actually hike this because there was a new waterway across the trail right by the parking lot! Another couple was just coming out, and the one with knee high boots carried the one with only ankle high rubber boots. They said about half way there, the water crossing would be waist deep. The crossing by the parking lot was massing a foot deep, though if you're good at rock hopping you could probably manage with only an inch of your boots wet. It was maybe 10' by the parking lot, but there were some better crossings farther back on the side of the road. It's the same stream as in the picture, the one that washed out the road
The last quarter mile of the road was partially washed out too, though you could make it with a high clearance vehicle, we chose to park on the side of the road and walk. Didn't get much farther than the parking lot though.
The rest of the road loading up to the last quarter mile was fine.
