It was a beautiful day at Lena Lake! The road to this trail is in great condition. It's paved all the way to the trailhead. There are a few small dips that come out of nowhere so be on the lookout for those!
This trail is easy to navigate. Most of the elevation is at the very beginning. The trail is like a creek in some places, so I foresee some work needing to be done here in the future. Future work party!
The lake is gorgeous with a very nice view of the Olympics. I would have gone in, however the lake was filled with pollen. We stayed for about an hour. My 11 year old really enjoyed pushing logs in the water.
This is one of my favorites! We plan to backpack here before the weather gets too warm. Lovely!
