Rampart Ridge Loop — Monday, Mar. 31, 2025

The trail is in good condition for this time of year. A few logs to go over, but easy to navigate. We hiked this clockwise and didn't hit snow until about 2.5 miles in. It was cloudy so we didn't get the views, but I know they are there. We'll be back on a clear day. It was a beautiful hike. It started snowing up top. We had spikes but didn't use them. The new snow made it easy to walk across the packed snow/ice. However, conditions could change and I suggest having spikes with you. We had poles too, and so glad we did. Lots of little waterfalls and wonderful foliage! We logged about 5.1 miles and completed this in a little under 2-1/2 hours.
