Beautiful hike with lovely moss on the trees, ferns, and spring buds! The falls were roaring, and I went for a brief swim — cold but very refreshing. There were several people wading as well. The trail is still somewhat muddy in places, but nothing too bad. I went over the log instead of fording the stream just before the falls, and it wasn't too slippery.
When I arrived around 9:15am, there were around 30-40 cars parked on the shoulder, but plenty of space for more to park. When I left around 1pm, parking had filled up significantly and there were cars circling around waiting for spots.
