Snow starts in earnest at 4000. Two gullies, the one with Dickerman Falls and the one before it contain a lot of snow. Ice ax and steep slope traversal and up/down climb required. Once past that and in the basin, travel is good with snowshoes. Splendid views from Olympics to Rainier to Baker. Significant cornice on summit.
