First time exploring the park on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Many cars at the trailhead but trail felt very quiet. It was big enough I think.
After a sunny week, it was very dry and in great condition. The Red Barn Trail is closed for maintenance, so we went up the pipeline trail then went for a loop around the Temple Pond. Not too many wildlife today. Saw two snakes were having their day in the sun.
The viewpoint was nice. Great open view of the valley to the south. At the NE corner of the top, there were views of the cascades as well. But mountains were mostly in clouds today.
