A nice cool morning for my first time on Mount Walker. The gate was open, and just a few cars in the lot. Left the trailhead just before 8am. Saw a few nice hikers along the way. The trail is pretty steep, but the trail was in great condition, and mostly dirt which my dog appreciated. We reached the North Summit Viewpoint in a little less than an hour in a half. It was a little weird to reach the top and see a car parked up there. I didn't realize you could drive to the summit. We then made our way over to the South Summit hoping for some clearer skies, but it was still overcast. Even without the views it was still a very nice hike.
