Arrived at parking lot at 10:30 am; plenty of available spots to park. Free parking - no pass required.
Vault toilets available at the trailhead - plenty of toilet paper available.
Trail was easily marked. Be prepared for a gradual incline over many exposed rocks and roots for approximately 2 miles until you reach the lower ledge. There were many people on the trail today making listening to nature difficult over the many conversations and foot traffic of other hikers.
There were a lot of dogs on the trail as well: all but one were on leashes. Bags of dog poop and tissue were prevalent on trail, especially lower sections of trail.
If you have extra energy in the tank, head up to the upper ledge for more solitude and quiet - it’s worth the extra push.
