Really lovely day hike with lots of spring wildflowers.
We started with the Vision Quest lollypop loop, then went down the Bedrock Ridge trail and came back by the Turtle Rock trail. It took 2-3 hrs.
The Bedrock Ridge trail has some pretty steep parts but the Turtle Rock trail is a gently sloping two-track road. Going out and back on the Turtle Rock trail would be fine for small kids or people with mobility aids.
Lots of signs of horses on this trail. Be cautious and aware with dogs.
Mosquitos were ok as long as you don't stop moving at all, but layers or bug spray wouldn't be a bad idea.
Use caution driving to the trailhead. There were many deer in the road and lots of blind corners.
