Enjoyed this trail on a rainy Monday! We got to the parking lot around 8 with only one other car in the medium-sized lot. The restrooms were still closed for the season. The trail overall gains moderately, with a good selection of flat areas to catch your breath! There are many water crossings; waterproof boots are helpful. Once you get to the lake, it is a bit challenging to find your way to a spot to relax. Be prepared to climb over some rocks to get there! The way down goes fairly quickly since this trail is not excessively rocky. By the time we arrived back to the trailhead (around 12:30), only a couple more cars had popped up. This trail is pretty much snow-free at this point and the roads are easy for most vehicles.
