Parking along the road, only 2 other cars. Muddy in the beginning but quickly dries out. Easy to get to from Tacoma, wanting to avoid the work at 18 and 90. A few trillium out, probably the last of the season. Didn’t see Hobart gap. I was looking for the stream for a lunch spot. Instead continued up past the “major power cement boxes things” and a fair way up the TMT to the right. Had a nice view of Mt Rainier, with a few power lines. Intermittent traffic noise and some muted noise from shooting range.
