Lena Lake — Saturday, May. 3, 2025

It was a lovely morning for a hike up to Lower Lena. Some rain on the way up but at the top the clouds started to part and had a bit of sunshine peeking down at us.

Trail was in great condition as it usually is. There was a WTA Work Party leaving as we were heading up and got to take advantage of some of the work they did on the trail…thanks to the volunteers!

Left at 10am and was not super crowded. The bathrooms at the trailhead are locked, sadly people are using the area around it to dispose of toilet paper. Please plan ahead and if you need to use the restroom, dig a hole and bury your waste properly.
