Trail Conditions: Intermittent snow starts @ ~4200'. Clear boot paths lead the way on packed snow. Plenty of dry sitting rocks near the lake. Campground is snow free.

Suggested Additional Gear: Trekking poles for the snow and water crossing. Waterproof shoes for the snowy ground.

The only postholing area. Easy with care.
The only slippery area. As you curve around the bend, be mindful of the ice.
Log crossing was mostly stable and passable by both human and dog, though you may also choose to cross using the rocks before the log for easier crossing.
