Chelan Lakeshore Trail — Saturday, May. 17, 2025

Awesome overnight; was a bit eerie coming back to this trail post-wildfire. I won’t add much more than what’s already been said, but it was a wet afternoon on Saturday. The rain wasn’t too bad, but the wet foliage drenched our feet. The foliage is fairly overgrown in places, and we saw lots of ticks clinging to the brush. We wore long pants and applied picaridan; luckily no ticks were found on us! Lupine is at full bloom. Old Orchard camp was nice, be ready to share sites. We used the bear box and toilet at Moore Point.
