This was our second time hiking Easton Ridge--it was still just as beautiful and challenging as the first time! You can expect uninterrupted uphill climbing until the top, but the vistas and wildflowers make it totally worth it. If you're into flowers, there were glacier and chocolate lilies, calypso orchids, paintbrushes, and so many more things blooming along the way. The trail is dry and narrow in places with a couple trees down, but very doable.
We didn't run into that many other people and did not have an issue parking in the small lot. You will take a right to go over the river when you first start off on the trail--it isn't well marked here but everything after is easy to follow.
Always a good reminder that things are drier and hotter on the east side of the mountains...bring more water than you think you'll need!
