I arrived at 8:10, and got a parking spot in the road. This was my first time here so thankfully other hikers showed me the way to the trailhead at the intersection.
The trail is in great condition. Lots of muddy spots to cross due to the rain showers yesterday. I’d suggest to wear shoes that are not white. It was so magical walking through the beautiful foliage. I was surprised that part of the trail included walking on a long log. That was fun!
The falls are both flowing fully. I learned from another hiker that there is a rare bird that spends time here: the only songbird that swims. I stayed until I saw one in action. COOL!
