About a mile or so past Monte Cristo, things really started slowing down. There are several large downed trees that were annoying to navigate. Doable with a little bushwhacking. I started hitting snow right about 4000 feet. I turned around just before poodle dog pass at about 4200-4300 feet due to the snow. Just didn't want to deal with it. If you're prepared, you'll be fine to keep going beyond where I turned around. The snow will keep melting fast with these nice, warm days we've been having.
