Generally snow-free trail, until the upper third. Easy to navigate most of the snow-fields, until the very final ascent. The final bit is totally snow-covered, so much so that we had to turn around before summiting. If you had some tools for self-arrest, you might try traversing it, but it was piled high enough that a mis-step would have you falling a long way down the mountain.
Beautiful day otherwise, and plenty of good views at the various viewpoints along the trail.
The forest road up to the trailhead was clear of snow.
