Great lower elevation hike if you are in the area. About 5 miles for the loop and 1100 net elevation gain and nice creek crossings. I noticed some changes from last year: a logging operation cutting through the trail in 2 places near Dick's rock. Not sure what was up with that...
There is a new bench seat on the east side of the loop, and many other trail improvements. We must have had a mild winter, and wet, sunny spring as vegetation is pushing onto the trail in a way I haven't seen before.
I was the first car in the lot/person on the trail today, hiking up through the spiderwebs, but saw a full lot when I got back down.
